WorldFilmGeek Hall of Famer Alexander Nevsky is returning to the horror genre, and this time, he will be in front of the cameras as well as produce it after the success of Night of the Caregiver.

The new film, titled The Ominous, will reunite Nevsky and collaborator Joe Cornet, who will be directing and co-starring in the film alongside Nick Baillie, Tatiana Neva, and Kerry Goodwin.

In the film, a screenwriter (Nevsky) decides to investigate unsolved murder and, unknowingly, wakes up mysterious supernatural forces.

The film was written by Craig Hamann, who wrote Night of the Caregiver and the Rio Bravo westerns with Cornet and Nevsky.

Production on the film will begin in February. Special Thanks to Alexander Nevsky for the exciting news! Check out Night of the Caregiver on Tubi, featuring Nevsky, Cornet, and this year’s Breakout star, Natalie Denise Sperl.
