George Lopez is planning a Christmas but finds some stirring trouble in How the Gringo Stole Christmas with the trailer released.

A Mexican father’s Christmas celebration goes from merry to messy when his daughter shows up with her new boyfriend — an uninvited gringo — in this hilarious holiday comedy.

Sort of a new play on Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner, the film co-stars Mariana Treviño, Emily Tosta, Jack Kilmer. The film is directed by Angel Gracia, from a script by Ezequiel Martinez Jr.

Lionsgate will release How the Gringo Stole Christmas on December 1 in theaters, On Demand, and Digital.
