The dynamic duo of Ivan Turchin and Sheriff Vernon Kelly are coming back as Premiere Entertainment Group and ITN Distribution have secured the North American rights to the sequel Taken from Rio Bravo.

WorldFilmGeek Hall of Famer Alexander Nevsky and director Joe Cornet reprise their roles from this year’s Gunfight at Rio Bravo as does Matthias Hues as Ethan Crowley. In this new film, Turchin (Nevsky) and Kelly (Cornet) must take on The Posse, a group of sadistic human traffickers who have kidnapped five women.

Joining Nevsky, Cornet, and Hues this time around are martial arts legends Cynthia Rothrock and Don “The Dragon” Wilson alongside Tatiana Neva and John Fallon. Cornet directs from a script from the returning Craig Hamann with Art Camacho once again handling the film’s action and even has a role in the film.

Taken from Rio Bravo will premiere sometime in 2024.
