In this exclusive interview, I talk to director Julio Soto Gurpide and producer Adriana Malfatti Chen about their animated murder mystery Inspector Sun, which has Ronny Chieng (“Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings”) voice the titular hunting spider, who meshes Poirot’s charm with the bumbling antics of Clouseau. An homage to 1930’s noir mysteries, the film will be released in theaters on Friday from VIVA Kids.
