It’s time to get on those skateboards as a classic from the 1970s is coming back thanks to the team at Factory 25.

Skateboard has gotten restored from a lost 35mm print and will be hitting select theaters beginning this Saturday, October 7. The film, co-written by Law and Order creator Dick Wolf, stars Allen Garfield, Leif Garrett, Ellen O’Neill, and includes skate legends Tony Alva and the late Jay Adams among others.

In deep debt to an increasingly impatient bookie, desperate no-account Hollywood agent Allen Garfield cooks up a last-ditch scheme to balance his books by putting together an all-teen skateboarding team and entering them in a neck-breaking downhill race, as one does.
