In this exclusive interview, I talk with Daniel Alexander, who wrote and directed a short film that brings the classic tale and gives it a new modern twist and legacy with Gale: Stay Away from Oz. In the film, Dorothy’s granddaughter is set to unlock the mystery of the strange dreams she has by meeting her grandmother for the first time. The film premiers on Chilling tomorrow (9/18).
