Earlier this year, I had the great pleasure to talk with Carter Smith about the LGBTQ+ horror film “Swallowed”. Smith returns with a new film, The Passenger, which revolves around an unhinged psychopath who takes a timid young man on the road, where the passenger must comes to grips with his past to survive. The film, starring Kyle Gallner and Johnny Berchtold, will be released On Demand and Digital on August 4 from Paramount Home Entertainment followed by a MGM+ release later this year.
