Jamie Bernadette is on a roll. Just after the release of her lead role in the new thriller Sebastian (now on Tubi), she will be facing off against zombies alongside Craig Stark in the Asylum’s End Times.
Bernadette and Stark play a pair of mismatched travelers in the middle of zombie-infested Los Angeles. Bernadette’s Claire is a privileged suburbanite who finds himself nearly attacked when she is saved by Stark’s Freddie, an ex-military officer who lost his daughter to the zombie virus. As they traverse through the city, Freddie teaches Claire the skills necessary to survive and the two form an unlikely partnership that is necessary to ensure their survival.
The film co-stars Dominique Swain, Maria Olsen, Sadie Katz, Jessica Morris, Kaiwi Lyman, Stefanie Estes, Dan Buran, and Victoria De Mare.
Bernadette also serves as a producer and had this to say about the film:
“We have a heartfelt horror here that has not only scared those who have previewed the film, but has also left them in tears at the end. Perhaps the toughest acting I have ever done is in the last 20 or so minutes of this film—yes, maybe even tougher than I Spit on Your Grave if you can believe that ha ha. It tried me as an artist, pushed me as an actor, and tested me as a person. I owe a big thank you to actor Craig Stark for being an incredible scene partner throughout this film and to writer and director Jim Towns for his brilliant vision and guidance.”
The film will be released on Digital as well as some selected theaters on July 14 from The Asylum.
