Having a love of literature and cinema, Bomani J. Story started his career working on short films until his script for Rock Steady Row became a film in 2018. He makes his feature film directorial debut with The Angry Black Girl and Her Monster, a modern-day Frankenstein tale mixed in with real-life issues that have plagued urban areas to this day. The film will be in select theaters on June 9 from RLJE Films followed by a VOD/Digital release on June 23.
Special Thanks to Bomani J. Story and Katrina Wan PR for making this interview possible.
