In the second installment of our “Celebration of Pride” interview series, I interview Roger Conners, an actor and director of indie horror films whose work in front of the cameras include “Teacher Shortage”, “Mother Krampus 2: Slay Ride”, and “American Poltergeist: The Curse of Lilith Ratchet”. He made his directorial debut on “Rebirth”, an LGBTQ+ horror film inspired by his childhood idol, the late George A. Romero. Roger is also the co-host of “Dark Night of the Podcast”, where he and fellow LGBTQ+ filmmaker Troy Escambia talk horror films from a LGTBQ+ perspective.
