Based on his own short film, director Lars Klevberg plans to bring the next item of horror in the titular vintage camera on August 25 with Polaroid.
High school loner Bird Fitcher has no idea what dark secrets are tied to the Polaroid vintage camera she stumbles upon, but it doesn’t take long to discover that those who have their picture taken meet a tragic end. Based on the award-winning short by Lars Klevberg, the story mixes elements of The Ring and Final Destination to create one of the most unique and scary films.
The film stars Kathryn Prescott, Mitch Pileggi, Grace Zabriskie, Keenan Tracey, Samantha Logan, Priscilla Quintana, Madelaine Petsch, and Javier Botet. Klevberg directs the film from a script by Blair Butler based on Klevberg’s short film.
Dimension Films will be unleashing Polaroid on August 25.
