It will be a battle like never seen before as The Odd Couple star Thomas Lennon (right) will pit himself against the returning deadly dolls in a new installment of the Puppet Master franchise.

Titled Puppet Master: The Littlest Reich, the film will star Lennon as a divorced man who finds a mint-condition Blade (left) doll and plans to sell it at a new Texas convention celebrating the 30th anniversary of the Toulon murders. An enigmatic force appears, bringing all of the puppets to life at the convention, creating a deadly killing spree.

Legendary horror actors Udo Kier and Barbara Crampton are co-starring along with Jenny Pellicer, Nelson Franklin,  Charlyne Yi, Alex Beh,  Tina Parker, Skeeta Jenkins and Michael Pare.

Sonny Laguna and Tommy Wiklund will be directing the film from a script by S. Craig Zahler. Original franchise producer Charles Band will be an executive producer on the film with Dallas Sonnier, Amanda Presmyk, Jack Heller, Lorenzo di Bonaventura, Mark Vahradian, and David Liljeblad all serving as producers.

Principal photography begins next week in Dallas for a 2017 release date.
