The full trailer to Rupert Sanders‘ take on the classic Mamoru Oshii anime Ghost in the Shell has finally arrived.

Scarlett Johansson takes over the role of the Major, a cyborg policewoman hellbent on taking down a deadly computer hacker, who may actually be the key for the cyborg to larn about her past. The film co-stars Takeshi Kitano, Michael Pitt, Pilou Asbaek, and Rila Fukushima. Oshii has approved of the film, as revealed in a recent featurette seen on YouTube.

The film will be released on March 31, 2017 from Paramount Pictures and Dreamworks.
