Mario Van Peebles‘ latest film as director features a stellar ensemble cast in this political thriller.

Van Peebles not only directs the film, titled If, but he stars and wrote the film, which revolves around the Second Amendment rights, post-traumatic stress disorder, and hyper medication.

Van Peebles is joined by William Fichtner, Laz Alonzo, Ryan Guzman, Columbus Short, and Dionne Warwick. There are also appearances from nationally renowned reportes Van Jones and Roland Martin.  The film is produced by Justin Nesbitt and Maya Van Peebles.
