After a successful run in limited theatrical release and film festivals, The Martial Arts Kid will be making its way to DVD and Blu-Ray on April 14 from Traditionz Entertainment.

The film stars martial arts legends Don “The Dragon” Wilson and Cynthia Rothrock as a couple who take in their troubled nephew and teach him martial arts when he is bullied, only to see a change in him, but when the bully continues to cause problems, something must be done.

Aside from the film, there is a feature length commentary from cast and crew members, the official trailer to the film, a featurette entitled The Journey, which begins with the announcement of the film to its run in film festivals and limited theatrical run (look for an appearance from yours truly in the photo from the Orlando screening at AMC Universal, which I attended in October. See that review HERE.) which ends with the following title card, “The Martial Arts Kid 2: Coming Soon“; and five minutes of deleted scenes.

You can pre-order your copy of The Martial Arts Kid on the film’s official website. DVDs are $13.99 and Blu-Rays are $17.99 plus shipping and handling. Just go to the Store link on the website for more information. Orders will be shipped out this Thursday, April 14.

One response to ““The Martial Arts Kid” comes to DVD & Blu-Ray April 14”

  1. I’ve been acting since the early 80’s and this was my first time working on a film that had such a positive message about how,
by studying the martial arts, one can improve “all aspects of your life”.
