Anchor Bay Entertainment is bringing a feature film adaptation of the action-comedy web series Vigilante Diaries to theaters next month followed by a DVD & Blu-Ray release a few short weeks later.

Based on a 2013-2014 web series on Chill.com, the film stars Jason Mewes (known as Jay in the View Askew cinematic universe created by Kevin Smith) as Michael Hanover, an in-your-face filmmaker known for his web videos of an urban avenger known only as ‘The Vigilante’, played by Paul Sloan. But when The Vigilante terminates a creep with deep connections, it’ll trigger a live-feed bloodbath between the Armenian mob, Mexican cartels, a rogue team of Special Forces commandos, and an international black ops conspiracy that’s about to make things very personal.

The film has an ensemble cast including Michael Jai WhiteQuinton “Rampage” JacksonMichael MadsenJames Russo, and Sal Guerrero, better known to many pro wrestling fans as Chavo Guerrero.

Christian Sesma directed the film with a script co-written by himself and co-star Sloan.

Anchor Bay Entertainment will release the film in a limited theatrical release and iTunes release on June 24th followed by a July 5th DVD, Blu-Ray, and On Demand release.
