They are back! Opa! The official trailer to My Big Fat Greek Wedding 3 has arrived and it looks great with plenty of surprises.

In the new film, the Portakalos family have lost their dear patriarch Gus. His dying wish is for the family to go to his hometown village in Greece for a family reunion as well as find Gus’ childhood friends. For Toula and Ian’s daughter Paris, she is in for a shock when she finds her ex Aristotle also going to Greece as well. This is destined to be a reunion the family will never forget.

Original stars Nia Vardalos, John Corbett, Louis Mandylor, Andrea Martin, Lainie Kazan, Joey Fatone, Gia Carides, Maria Vacratsis and Elena Kampouris are back (with many of the Portakalos extended family) along with new cast members Elias Kacavas and Melina Koutselou joining the madness and fun of the franchise. Vardalos not only returns to star, but she wrote and directs the new film, scheduled for release in theaters on September 8 from Focus Features.
