This Labor Day weekend, prepare to pay homage and respect to the late great Jason David Frank.
Bat in the Sun announced that Frank’s final film, Legend of the White Dragon, will have a theatrical release Labor Day weekend to coincide on what would have been his 50th birthday. The world was rocked in November 2022 with the tragic passing of the legendary Power Ranger actor at the age of 49.
In the film, Frank plays Erik Reed, a fugitive in a post-apocalyptic world who is thrust back in action to clear his name when a new threat emerges. The film stars Power Rangers alumni Johnny Yong Bosch, Jason Faunt, Ciara Hanna, and Cerina Vincent alongside Rachelle Brooke Smith, Michael Madsen, Mayling Ng, and Mark Dacascos.
Aaron Schoenke co-wrote, co-produced, and directed the film.
