Check out this exclusive clip from the upcoming horror film Night of the Caregiver, which is almost fully completed.
The film, directed by Joe Cornet and produced by WorldFilmGeek Hall of Famer Alexander Nevsky, stars Natalie Denise Sperl as Juliet, a hospice nurse who cares for the ailing Lillian (The Exorcist‘s Eileen Dietz), who lives in an isolated house in a remote area. Although she’s terminally ill, the elderly Lillian seems to be a cordial and sweet lady. However, as the night goes on, Juliet suspects someone else is also dwelling in the house causing she and Lillian to be in grave danger.
The film co-stars the iconic Eric Roberts, Anna Oris, and director Cornet himself. The film was written by Showdown in Manila‘s scripter Craig Hamann. Cornet had this to say:
“As the director of Night of the Caregiver, I am pleased to announce we have our “locked” edit and are in the final stage of post-production. I am also happy to announce that BD Films will present first screening of Night of the Caregiver at the American Film Market in Los Angeles this coming November. It was a thrill to direct this modern day horror tale with some touches of Dario Argento and William Friedkin thrown into the mix for good measure!”
The film is scheduled to have a wide release sometime in 2023.
