Beginning his career as an actor in 80’s cult horror films such as Evil Spawn (directed by cult icon Fred Olen Ray) and Blood Diner (directed by Jackie Kong), Drew Godderis made the transition from actor to director with the 1994 shot-on-video thriller Jabber, which has been renamed L.A. Aids Jabber, the story of an unhinged 19-year old’s revenge on society when he is diagnosed with AIDS (starring the amazingly named Jason Majik).
The film will be released on Special Edition Blu-Ray on August 9 from new label Visual Vengeance, Wild Eye Releasing’s sister label that’s focused on SOV films.
Special Thanks to October Coast PR and Drew Godderis for making this interview possible.
