Christian Sesma is returning to action with a new military thriller that has just been picked up by RJLE Films and AMC.
In Section 8, after avenging the murder of his wife and child, a former soldier is sent to prison with a life sentence. He’s given a shot at freedom when a shadow government agency recruits him for an off-the-books assignment, and he soon realizes Section 8 isn’t what it seems.
The film’s ensemble cast includes Ryan Kwanten, Dolph Lundgren, Dermot Mulroney, Scott Adkins, and Mickey Rourke. Sesma’s previous work includes Take Back and The Vigilante Diaries. The film was by Chad Law and produced by Brandon Burrows.
The film has scored a release date of September 23, 2022 in theaters and on AMC+.
