We have trailers for three upcoming films that are bound to attract genre fans.
First, we have the trailer to the long awaited Clerks III, which reunites the duo of Brian O’Halloran and Jeff Anderson as Dante and Randal after 1994’s original and 2006 sequel. In this one, Randal suffers and survives a heart attack (based on writer-director Kevin Smith‘s real-life health mishap a few years back) and it inspires Randal to make a film about a day at the Quik Stop. Smith, Jason Mewes, Rosario Dawson, and Trevor Fehrman return along with a slew of cameos.
Lionsgate, in partnership with Fathom Events, will be releasing Clerks III exclusively in theaters on September 13th and 15th.
Next, we have the British powerhouse Gary Daniels, who continues a massive comeback after taking on Robert Bronzi in The Gardener. In Bring Him Back Dead, Daniels takes the lead as an anti-hero, a master thief who has betrayed his gang and plans to steal the loot for himself. Daniel Baldwin and Louis Mandylor co-star in the Mark Savage-directed action film, set for release on DVD, VOD, and Digital on August 2 from Uncork’d Entertainment.
Finally, during the pandemic, thanks to Film Combat Syndicate, we had heard about Jennifer N. Linch‘s Kung Fu Ghost. The film is finally completed and the trailer is here. Linch plays a young woman who arriving in a supposedly haunted house, meets her grandfather, who has died as well as David, a young ghost who the young woman falls for. When home invaders arrive, Grandfather possesses the girl but soon realizes for her to ensure surivival, she trains in martial arts.
Vision Films has picked up the film and will release the film on DVD and streaming on August 2.
