As we are near the end of 2021, there are some trailers for upcoming films for next year and as a treat, let’s churn out some upcoming trailers for next year:
Monsters in the Closet (January 4, On Demand): When famous horror author Raymond Grant dies under mysterious circumstances, his daughter returns home to investigate his death. Jasmin discovers her father was using evil black magic to write his newest horror masterpiece. When the author’s audio book is played out loud monsters, zombies and terrifying beings spring from the undead pages to haunt the living. Never open a Pandora box that can’t be closed.
Old Strangers (January 11, Digital): Sarah, Michael, and Danny try to rekindle the spark of their youth only to be confronted with the harsh realities of their relationships. Just beyond their reunion, in the deep woods, there is something otherworldly growing and feeding on their pain.
Shattered (January 14, Theatrical/On Demand): In the tradition of Fatal Attraction and Basic Instinct comes this dazzling action-thriller starring Academy Award® nominee John Malkovich and Frank Grillo. After lonely tech millionaire Chris encounters charming, sexy Sky (Lilly Krug), passion grows between them – and when he’s injured, she quickly steps in as his nurse. But Sky’s odd behavior makes Chris suspect that she has more sinister intentions, especially when Sky’s roommate is found dead from mysterious causes.
The Surprise Visit (January 14, Theatrical/On Demand): When a young couple makes a surprise visit to Mom, they get an even bigger surprise themselves from an old family friend who plans to steal Mom’s valuable jewelry while she is out of town. But when the “easy peasy” robbery goes wrong, resulting in the accidental death of the daughter’s husband, it forces the two young drug addicts to make a difficult decision; to abandon ship, or do the unthinkable.
An Unquiet Grave (January 18, DVD/On Demand/Digital): A year after losing his wife in a car crash, Jamie (Jacob A. Ware) convinces her sister, Ava (Christine Nyland), to return with him to the site of the accident and help him perform a strange ritual. But as the night wears on, it becomes clear that he has darker intentions. Special features on the DVD include filmmaker Commentary, a lyric video of “The Unquiet Grave” by Vanessa Cuccia, interviews with the Cast and Director, An Unquiet Grave Special Effects, and the Nightstream World Premiere Q&A
The Tiger Rising (January 21, Theatrical): Queen Latifah and Dennis Quaid star in this beloved tale based on the New York Times best-selling book by Kate DiCamillo. When 12-year-old Rob Horton (Christian Convery) discovers a caged tiger in the woods near his home, his imagination runs wild and life begins to change in the most unexpected ways. With the help of a wise and mysterious maid, Willie May (Queen Latifah) and the stubborn new girl in school (Madalen Mills), he navigates through childhood memories, heartache, and wondrous adventures in this heartwarming adaptation.
Morbius (January 28, Theatrical): Dr. Michael Morbius (Jared Leto) has been missing for two months, and was eventually found on a container ship. After almost dying, Morbius finds that he is stronger than ever, with increased speed, hearing, and he’s also able to fly. Now on the hunt for blood, he is unsure what he’s capable of, and questions whether he can control himself. Part of the newly named Sony’s Spider-Man Universe (SSU), look out for a cameo from Michael Keaton in his return as Adrian “The Vulture” Toomes and Matt Smith as the villain, Loxias Crown.

The Requin (January 28, Theatrical/On Demand/Digital): There’s terror in paradise when Jaelyn (Alicia Silverstone) and Kyle (James Tupper) arrive at a remote seaside villa in Vietnam for a romantic getaway. A torrential storm descends, reducing the villa to little more than a raft and sweeping the young couple out to sea. Suddenly, another danger appears: a school of great white sharks. With her injured husband watching helplessly, Jaelyn must battle the deadly predators alone in this tense thriller that rides an unrelenting wave of fear.
