It’s time for Marvel Studios’ newest hero to finally be unleashed to the world in the official teaser to Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings.

Canadian actor/martial artist/stuntman Simu Liu takes on the titular role of the kung fu master Shang-Chi, who after ten years of freedom, returns to his trainer/father Wenwu, played by Tony Leung Chiu-Wai (making his Hollywood debut). When Wenwu, revealed to be the REAL Mandarin (see Iron Man 3) and wants his son by his side, Shang-Chi refuses and thus leads to a series of fights and more as we see our hero fulfill his own destiny.

Michelle Yeoh, Fala Chen, Ronny Chieng, and Awkwafina co-star in the film directed by Daniel Destin Cretton from a script by David Callaham. Vi-Dan Tran of the Jackie Chan Stunt Team and wushu champion Alan Tang designed the fight sequences. Look out for WorldFilmGeek Hall of Famers Martial Club in stunt roles.

Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings will unleash its fury on September 3 from Marvel Studios.
