It is time to meet one of the greatest names you may not have heard of, but if it wasn’t for him, the toy world would never be the same.

Meet Eddy Goldfarb, a 98-year old man who for decades have revolutionized the world of toys. That’s right. Toys. Eddy takes us to his humble beginnings and his college career, where he majored in physics. After his service in the military, Eddy decided to create certain toys. His greatest invention is a particular one that has been seen in pop culture everywhere: the chattering teeth. Goldfarb’s inventions and concepts have been a staple in toy markets for many years. And at 98, he’s still going at it!

Directed by Eddy’s daughter Lyn, this is a short 28-minute film that gives us a look at a name many may not know about, but know of his famous toys. Not only do we get a look at the life and career of Eddy Goldfarb in a short amount of time, but seeing some of his grand inventions will most likely give the viewer a chance to release their inner child or those who have an inner child that has been dormant just waiting to awaken again will get that with this film. There are a few points where we felt sympathy for Eddy as he also had some personal struggles, but it never held him back. He was put here on this Earth to change an industry and he succeeded in more ways than one.

Eddy’s World gives us both an intimate look at perhaps the greatest toymaker today as well as bringing back feelings of nostalgia not just for him, but for the viewer as well.
