Indie Thriller “Volition” Acquired by Giant Pictures


An award-winning sci-fi film has been picked up for a nationwide release this July.

Volition, which won the Philip K. Dick Film Festival’s Best Feature award, was picked up by Giant Pictures and the distributor has set a release date of July 10th in select theaters and On Demand platforms.

VOLITION is a time-bending cerebral science-fiction thriller where a man afflicted with clairvoyance tries to change his fate when a series of events leads to a vision of his own imminent murder.”

The film stars Adrian Glynn McMorran, Magda Apanowicz, John Cassini, Frank Cassini, Aleks Paunovic, and Bill Marchant. The film marks the feature film directorial debut of Tony Dean Smith, who co-wrote the film with his brother, Ryan W. Smith.

Look out for Volition on July 10 from Giant Pictures, produced in association with Paly Productions and Smith Brothers Film Company.
