She saw him once….she can’t see him now…but can feel him!
The official trailer to Leigh Whannell‘s take on The Invisible Man has been released. Originally meant to have been part of Universal’s Dark Universe (before the collapse), the film has now taken its own route and brings a more psychological thriller tone to the titular character.
Elisabeth Moss plays Cecilia, a woman who has left her abusive boyfriend only to learn he committed suicide shortly after she left. She is given an inheritance and as she attempts to start her life over, a mysterious force begins to mess with her psyche. Could it be that her ex is still alive and is looking for revenge by being invisible?
Oliver Jackson-Cohen, Storm Reid, Aldis Hodge, and Harriet Dyer co-star in the film, written and directed by Whannell. Universal Pictures has set a February 28, 2020 release date.
