Two more are about to enter Mortal Kombat.
With the cast continuing to grow, today, it was announced that Chin Han (left) and Hiroyuki Sanada will be joining for the new Mortal Kombat film that will be produced by James Wan and directed by Simon McQuoid.
Han will play the warlord Shang Tsung and Sanada will play the yellow-clad Lin Kuei ninja Scorpion, who shoots a deadly chain and dart and even throws fire when he unmasks.
They join Ludi Lin as Liu Kang, Joe Taslim as Sub-Zero, Mehcad Brooks as Jax, Sisi Stringer as Mileena, Jessica McNamee as Sonya Blade, Josh Lawson as Kano, and Tadanobu Asano as Raiden. Lewis Tan also joins the cast in an yet-to-be-named role.
Shooting is set to begin soon in Australia for a Marach 5, 2021 release from New Line Cinema.
