Laurie Strode and Michael Myers aren’t the only ones returning to Haddonfield.
After the success of the 2018 Halloween sequel that retconned all of the sequels to the 1978 hit slasher classic, it was announced that the duo of David Gordon Green and Danny McBride would return for two sequels, entitled Halloween Kills and Halloween Ends. Jamie Lee Curtis is returning for both sequels and creator John Carpenter will do the music for both films as he did with the 2018 film.
Green and McBride have teamed up with Scott Teems on Halloween Kills and there is one character returning to Haddonfield. Tommy Doyle, the young boy who Laurie babysat in the original film, is returning and he will now be played by Anthony Michael Hall.
Brian Andrews played Tommy in the original film and a young Paul Rudd played the role in the now retconned sequel, Halloween: The Curse of Michael Myers.
Halloween Kills is set to begin shooting soon for an October 16, 2020 release.
