Way down in the jungle deep…Eddie Murphy is channeling the legend of Rudy Ray Moore in the official trailer to Dolemite is My Name, the biopic about the late Moore.

Murphy plays Rudy Ray Moore, a man who becomes a legend in the world of Blaxploitation in the 1970s when Hollywood shuts him down. His film Dolemite would become the stuff of legend.

Wesley Snipes plays D’Urville Martin, Moore’s co-star and director of Dolemite. The film co-stars Tituss Burgess, Mike Epps, Keegan-Michael Key, Craig Robinson, and Da’Vine Joy Randolph. Craig Brewer directs the film from a script by Scott Alexander and Larry Karaszewski.

Dolemite is My Name is coming to Netflix later this Fall.
