If you didn’t get enough of your fix from the rivalry between killer Michael Myers and Laurie Strode, do not fear.
2018’s Halloween, which marked an official sequel to the first two films of the franchise, did well enough that not one, but two official sequels are being planned. David Gordon Green and Danny McBride‘s collaboration on the script did well enough to warrant the sequel, with help from the legendary John Carpenter.
Jamie Lee Curtis is set to return to her signature role of the iconic survivor Laurie Strode. McBride will be co-writing the two sequels, Halloween Kills and Halloween Ends. Carpenter will be involved in the film, most likely working as both consultant and the composer. Green will return to the director’s chair with filming set to begin in Wilmington, North Carolina.
Halloween Kills has been set for an October 16, 2020 release and Halloween Ends will be released on October 15, 2021. The latter is expected to mark the end of the franchise.
