There some new Angels coming down to “action Heaven” with the official trailer to Charlie’s Angels.

Described by director Elizabeth Banks as not a reboot, but more of a continuation and updated installment that connects both the original Aaron Spelling/Leonard Goldberg series and McG‘s two big-screen adventures in 2000 and 2003, the new Angels are Sabrina Wilson (Kristen Stewart), a highly skilled “wild card”; Jane Kano (Ella Balinska), a former MI-6 agent; and new member Elena Houghlin (Naomi Scott), a MIT-trained science whiz and techie.

Banks herself plays one of many “Bosleys”, which now is the codename of the Townsend Agency’s handlers, which has since gone global. Two more “Bosleys” will be played by Sir Patrick Stewart and Djimon Hounsou. Co-starring in the film are the new He-Man, Noah Centineo; Gerardo Mendez and Jonathan Tucker.

Banks directed from a script she wrote based on a story by Evan Spiliotopoulos and David Auburn.

Sony Pictures is releasing Charlie’s Angels on November 15.
