It is finally happening…finally! The Wyld Stallyns are coming back!
In an official video announcement, which can be seen below, Alex Winter and Keanu Reeves have announced that the long-awaited third installment of the Bill and Ted series is finally happening with shooting to begin this summer.
The film will be called Bill and Ted Face the Music and the now middle-aged dads will finally unleash the prophecy upon them as they must use their music to save humanity!
The film was written by the two “excellent dudes” who created these iconic characters, Chris Matheson and Ed Solomon. Dean Parisot will be directing the film. And there’s even more good news as a familiar face will also be returning.
Sorry folks, it’s not the iconic mentor Rufus as George Carlin passed away in 2008. Instead, the Grim Reaper himself, a central supporting figure from Bill and Ted’s Bogus Journey is returning and yes fans, William Sadler (top right), is returning to the role of Death himself. It was officially confirmed on the official Twitter of Bill and Ted 3.
Bill and Ted Face the Music has been set for an August 21, 2020 release from Orion Pictures.
