Kevin Hart is going from Jumanji to a whole different game.

Hart, who is set to return as part of the ensemble cast in the next installment of the Jumanji franchise, is in final negotiations with Lionsgate and Allspark, the film division of Hasbro Inc., to star and produce the long-developed film adaptation of Monopoly.

Hart will reunite with Tim Story, who is set to direct the film. Story had directed Hart’s Ride Along films along with some stand-up specials. Plot details are currently unknown.

Despite some recent controversy on Hart that cost him the potential gig to host this year’s Academy Awards, his latest film, The Upside, is the #1 film at the box office as of last weekend. In addition to the upcoming Jumanji threequel, Hart will next be heard, not seen, as Snowball in The Secret Life of Pets 2. As for Story, his next film is Shaft, which stars the O.G. Richard Roundtree, along with reboot/sequel star Samuel L. Jackson, and Jessie T. Usher, set for release in theaters this summer.

More as this develops.
