It should be known that when it comes to Nicolas Cage, you’re either going to love what he has to offer or not like it so much. The trailer for his upcoming film, Mandy, is going to unleash Cage in a manner unlike any other.

The quiet life of devoted couple Red and Mandy takes a dark and bizarre turn when a nightmarish cult and their maniacal leader seek to possess Mandy…body and soul. A shocking assault on the innocent pair leads to a spiraling, surreal, bloody rampage of all out, mind-altering vengeance.

Andrea Riseborough plays the titular Mandy with Linus Roache as the maniacal cult leader. Panos Cosmatos directed and co-wrote the film, which from the ending of the trailer features a chainsaw duel that will definitely bring Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2 to mind.

Mandy comes to theaters on September 14 from RLJE Films.
