Production wrapped in New Zealand on the live-action adaptation of the Koei-Tecmo video game series Dynasty Warriors. Production took nine months, beginning in China followed by New Zealand.
With the news of the film’s principal photography being complete, it has been revealed that three more cast additions have been revealed. Veteran supporting actor Lam Suet (left) will play Dong Zhuo, a military general of the Han forces. Philip Keung (right) plays Zhang Jiao, the leader of the Yellow Turban force. Law Kar-Ying has been cast as Lu Boshe, an acquaintance of the warlord Cao Cao (Wang Kai).
Roy Chow directed the film with his wife Christine To serving as a producer. The film is set for release in 2018.
