Mads Mikkelsen is going into action mode with his next film!
Mikkelsen will star in Polar, an adaptation of the Dark Horse graphic novel Polar: Came with the Cold, under the helm of Jonas Åkerlund, with the script being written by Jayson Rothwell.
Mikkelsen will play Duncan “The Black Kaiser” Vizla, a top assassin who is basically forced to retire when his former employer finds him a liability. He soon finds himself hunted down by an army of younger, faster, ruthless killers who will stop at nothing to have him silenced. Having no choice but to return to the shadowy life he thought he’d left behind, he must use his arsenal of deadly skills to outsmart his enemies and protect an innocent woman.
Mister Smith Entertainment is bringing the film to the American Film Market, which opens November 1 in Santa Monica, California.
