Chan and Stallone Head to “Baghdad”

Since their cameo appearance in the failed Burn, Hollywood, Burn: An Alan Smithee Film, fans have wanted to see a proper collaboration between Jackie Chan and Sylvester Stallone. Now, that dream is finally coming true.

The Hong Kong action legend and the Hollywood action legend will be teaming up for a new film entitled Ex-Baghdad. Chan’s Sparkle Roll Media will be collaborating with Talent International with Chan producing alongside Qi Jianghong and Esmond Ren along with Hans Canosa.

When a China-run oil refinery is attacked in Mosul, Iraq, a Chinese private security contractor (Chan) is called in to extract the oil workers. He learns, however, that the attackers’ real plan is to steal a fortune in oil, and teams up with an American former Marine (Stallone) to stop them.

Scott Waugh will be helming the film with the script by Arash Amel. More as this develops…
