Michael Dougherty‘s upcoming sequel to Godzilla has brought in two more cast members to join Stranger Things‘ Millie Bobby Brown.
Kyle Chandler (center) and Vera Farmiga (right) will play the parents of Brown’s character. Brown was the first cast member to sign and rumors are spreading that Japanese actor Ken Watanabe may be reprising his role from Gareth Edwards‘ successful 2014 reboot of the Big-G.
Dougherty took over for the departing Edwards, who opted to return to making smaller scale films, and co-wrote the script with Zach Shields. The sequel is going by the title Godzilla: King of the Monsters and according to sources, we may see some of the more legendary monsters appear such as Mothra, Rodan, and King Ghidorah.
Godzilla: King of the Monsters is set to begin shooting in June for a March 22, 2019 release from Warner Bros.
