Warner Brothers has officially introduced the titular characters of the spin-off Ocean’s Eight, in which Sandra Bullock plays Danny Ocean’s little sister Debbie.
In this film, Debbie attempts to pull off the heist of the century at New York City’s star-studded annual Met Gala. Her first stop is to assemble the perfect crew: Lou (Cate Blanchett); Nine Ball (Rihanna); Amita (Mindy Kaling); Constance (Awkwafina); Rose (Helena Bonham Carter); Daphne Kluger (Anne Hathaway); and Tammy (Sarah Paulson).
Damien Lewis plays the film’s central villain, who is believed to be an ex-boyfriend of Debbie’s. James Corden plays an insurance investigator, and Matt Damon may be making a cameo as his Ocean’s character, Linus Caldwell. Dakota Fanning, Richard Armitage, Kim Kardashian, Kendall Jenner, Anna Wintour, Adriana Lima and Katie Holmes are also making cameos in the film.
Gary Ross wrote and directed the film with Ocean’s series helmer Steven Soderbergh producing with Jon Kilik.
Ocean’s Eight will burst onto theaters later this year.

I applaud all this “women power”, but I still do not think this will work as good as good old Ocean 11,12. Looking at the cast, it looks like some celebrities commercial. Do not know what Rhianna, Kardashian or Lima forgot there.
