Ladies and gentlemen, it is time to meet…The Last Jedi!

The official title for Star Wars Episode VIII was revealed this morning from the official Star Wars Twitter feed. It will be called Star Wars: The Last Jedi.

Rian Johnson completed production of the film late last year, shortly before the tragic death of Carrie Fisher, who reprises her iconic role of General Leia Organa. Mark Hamill returns as Luke Skywalker, who meets Rey, played by Daisy Ridley in the last installment, The Force Awakens.

John Boyega, Oscar Isaac, and Adam Driver also return to their roles of reformed Stormtrooper Finn, X-Wing pilot Poe Dameron, and the villain Kylo Ren.

Star Wars: The Last Jedi takes off on December 15 from LucasArts and Disney.
