For those, like myself, who really love to watch the 1992 basketball comedy White Men Can’t Jump starring Wesley Snipes and Woody Harrelson are about to cringe…because the film is getting remade.
Black-ish series creator Kenya Barris will be writing and producing a remake of the 1992 film, in which two hustlers become friends and teammates both on and off the courts. Producing the film will also be Los Angeles Clippers player Blake Griffin and Carolina Panthers All-Pro Ryan Kalil.
The original 1992 film features some great one-liners and chemistry between Snipes and Harrelson. They would re-team three years later for the action comedy Money Train.
This news brings a lot of skepticism but we will soon see what will happen. More as this develops.
