Time to Meet Andy Long of the Jackie Chan Stunt Team

This month’s Indie Action Spotlight had the highlight clip being the short film Pokemon Go Crazy. The film was co-directed, choreographed and co-starred Andy Long, who has been a member of the world renowned Jackie Chan Stunt Team since 2011. With his recent short films and work with Jackie Chan, it is time the world got to know who this young talent is.

Born Andreas Nguyen, Andy Long was raised in Germany and was inspired by the talent of the legendary Jackie Chan. Andy began training in martial arts and had mastered a variety of arts, such as Judo, Taekwondo, Hapkido, Kung Fu, and Wing Chun amongst others. He has also studied parkour and free running.

When Jackie Chan was shooting Around the World in 80 Days in Paris, Andy made it a mission to live a dream and after creating his own stunt team in 2006, “Mag-Fighters”, and began making his own short films with Jackie-inspired action, the dream Andy Long had long wished for had finally come true. He became a member of the Jackie Chan Stunt Team, chosen by both Jackie and stunt team co-leader He Jun.

Andy can be seen in Chinese Zodiac, Police Story: Lockdown, Dragon Blade and will join forces with Tim Man as one of the Ozerov Brothers, who will face Scott Adkins’ iconic in-ring fighter in Boyka: Undisputed.

Andy Long is truly one talent that has to be seen and this demo reel shows some of his top highlights in both action and stunts. Check this young talent out now!
