Margot Robbie gained quite a following with her reinvented role of Harley Quinn in the film Suicide Squad. Recently, Warner Brothers announced a spin-off to the film which brings Quinn in the lead role and now, word has come on the new film.
The film will be an adaptation of Paul Dini‘s comic book series Gotham City Sirens, which revolves around Quinn leading a team with the likes of fellow DC villain Poison Ivy and villain/anti-hero Catwoman. The film will be directed by David Ayer, the writer and director of Suicide Squad himself.
Rumors are emerging that Megan Fox is a contender for the role of Poison Ivy while Robbie’s Suicide Squad and Focus c0-star Will Smith has mentioned that he would love to bring Deadshot back in the new film and should Robbie ask him to make an appearance, he will gladly do so.
