As reported,Tim Miller has decided to leave Deadpool 2 due to creative differences with the star of the film, Ryan Reynolds. Miller, however, has impressed Fox that they have signed him onto another project.

However, Miller has recently signed on to serve as an executive producer of another adaptation. He will be producing a live-action/CGI meshing of the Sega video game character Sonic the Hedgehog for Sony Pictures and Marza Animation Planet.

These days, you can’t think Sega so much without Sonic as Sonic is basically the company’s iconic mascot, created in 1991. While details on the story are unknown, Miller’s longtime friend Jeff Fowler will be making his feature film directorial debut on the film with the script being written by Patrick Casey and Josh Miller. Producing will be Neal H. MoritzTakashi Ito, and Mie Onishi.
