A mother and her headstrong daughter are in the path of a dangerous terror in the trailer for the upcoming horror film The Monster.

The film stars Zoe Kazan as a divorced mother who takes her daughter, played by Ella Ballantine, to see the girl’s father, who is in the hospital. When they encounter an accident in the woods, they find themselves coming face to face with a deadly monster lurking in the woods.

The Strangers helmer Bryan Bertino directed the film that is now an exclusive DirecTV release, where it is playing. However, the film will be released in theaters and on VOD platforms on November 11 from A24 Films.
