Holland once again becomes a land of horrors in the trailer of The Windmill, Nick Jongerius‘s latest slasher film that came from a concept idea he unleashed years ago.

The plot revolves around Australian girl Jennifer, who runs from her past and ends up in the Netherlands. She joins a bus load of tourists who are embarking on a tour of Holland’s windmills. When the bus breaks down in the middle of nowhere, the group takes shelter in a shed, where it is believed a devil-worshipping miller used to kill people to grind up their bones. As the tourists begin disappearing, Jennifer learns they are all connected by a big dark secret.

The film boasts an international cast including Charlotte Beaumont, Bart Klever, Patrick Baladi, Ben Batt, Tanroh Ishida, and Noah Taylor.

XLrator Media has picked up the North American rights to the film and plan to release the film on October 28th in a limited theatrical release preceded by a Video on Demand and iTunes release on October 25th.
