On the day it was announced that the legendary Jackie Chan would be receiving the Honorary Governors’ Academy Award, it was announced that we will see his upcoming action-comedy Railroad Tigers in the U.S. this December.

Well Go USA has made a deal to acquire the rights of the film in the U.S., the United Kingdom, Australia, and New Zealand. The World War II-set film stars Chan as a railroad worker who decides to lead to a team of fighters to stop the Japanese war effort via his knowledge of the railroads. Ding Sheng directed the film, which co-stars the likes of Darren WangHuang ZitaoWang Kai, and Hiroyuki Ikeuchi.

The film will be released in China on December 16 and sometime around that time, look for the film in limited theaters before a DVD/Blu-Ray release date.
