D.C.-based Rising Tiger Films’ Leroy Nguyen recently completed his feature film directorial debut entitled Black Scar Blues.
The film revolves a young hard-fisted hoodlum who returns to the town he escaped from in order to try to right the wrongs he’s committed. What ensues is a devastating spiral of violence and betrayal that will consume everyone that he has ever cared about, and those very few who have ever cared about him.
Co-starring in the film alongside Nguyen are Edmond Shum, Queen Suyat, Jen Barnard, Donald Williams, and Daniel Sim. Nguyen and Shum also edited and choreographed the fight scenes.
