Gans’ “Beauty and the Beast” Comes to Theaters in September

Christophe Gans, director of Brotherhood of the Wolf and Crying Freeman, has directed an adaptation of a timeless classic which will come to the U.S. in September.

Beauty and the Beast stars the talented Vincent Cassel as the Beast while Skyfall‘s Lea Seydoux plays Belle. Andre Dussollier,Eduardo NoriegaMyrian CharleinsAudrey Lamy, and Sara Girandeau co-star in the film based on the timeless French tale.

This will be released prior to Disney’s live action adaptation of their Academy Award-nominated animated film that stars Emma Watson as Belle and Dan Stevens as the Beast.

Shout! Factory Films will be releasing the films in select theaters, including Los Angeles and New York on September 23, 2016. The film is rated PG-13 and has a runtime of 112 minutes. Check out the trailer below:
